Hello All
I have this A1200 system for sale. It is currently listed on the otherbay also. I suspect the value will not be there for anyone, as postage from AUS is just insane for such a heavy item. Id rather it go here than the otherbay, as it will save a buyer some money. I have some examples of postage costs at the bottom.
Being a bit cheeky, Ive just copied most of the text from my other listing...
This Amiga 1200 in a custom case has the following specs:
A1200 1d.4 mainboard
ACA1220 accelerator card 68020 @ 25Mhz, with 128MB RAM (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/aca1220)
FastATA IDE controller with 4Gb CF HDD and IDE DVDROM drive - much faster than standard Amiga IDE port (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/fastata1200)
Subway USB card, with 4 available USB ports (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/subway)
Lyra 2 keyboard interface - to use either PC PS/2 keyboard or Amiga keyboard (https://icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/shop/product/lyra-2-keyboard-adapters.html?lyra_type=A1200)
Indivision AGA Mk2cr Scan doubler / flicker fixer (https://icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/shop/product/Flickerfixer_Scandoubler.html) (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/indivisionagamk2)
GBS8220 RGB>VGA adapter (http://www.jammaboards.com/store/cga-ega-yuv-to-vga-arcade-hd-converter-pcb-gbs-8220-gbs-8220.html)
Now also including PCMCIA wireless network card, never used, bought new from AmigaKit (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=32&products_id=121)
880kb floppy drive
3.1 ROMs
Seasonic MicroATX PSU
<snip> to be within the rules of AmiBay Dave G
This is one virtually complete A1200!
The front panel has an illuminated power button, system reset switch and a volt gauge for the 5v and 12v lines. To the side of the front panel is the 4 USB ports. On the rear, the system has the following:
DVI output (from the Indivision)
VGA output (from the GBS8220....which isnt the cleanest output but its better than composite!)
Composite video output
Audio output (L+R)
Keyboard connector with switch for PC or Amiga keyboard
Serial, parallel and joystick ports
PS/2 mouse input (via Amiga>PS/2 mouse adapter)
The case is a 3U rack case, painted in silver. Its not perfect, but its a good presentation all the same. The case has a fan to exit any hot air, I have fitted a fan over ALICE to prevent the graphic glitches that can been seen with higher resolutions (and this seems to have done the job, with hours of running Ive seen no graphic glitches), and also a fan has been fitted over the Indvision as LISA is covered by the INDI. Overall this is a very solid system, with hours and hours of testing after assembly, this is one of the most stable AGA systems Ive had. The DVD and floppy work fine, the PCMCIA works with the ACA, the Subway works very solidly (granted its not a speed demon, but from the clockport that is to be expected).
I'm asking $650 AUD>>>NOW $588AUD (approx 440EUR>>>410EUR / 341GBP>>>320GBP) + paypal fees and postage
LOCAL (AUSTRALIA) Postage will be via registered post Australia wide. If you want insurance it will be charged at cost by AUSPost. Please contact me for a quote, or you can get an estimate at http://auspost.com.au/apps/postage-calculator.html and use 9kg as the weight. Pickup from Parramatta NSW can be arranged
POSTAGE ABROAD estimate....
Europe - express postage (with tracking) $240AUD (approx 162EUR or 126GBP)
New Zealand - express postage (with tracking) $130AUD
Insurance would be a bit more
I would consider sale of the components only, to remove weight (ie no case, no PSU, no CDROM or no Floppy etc), but would not discount the price other than reduce the postage cost. I would think removing said components would reduce postage to around $110AUD to Europe
Happy to field any questions via thread or PM...to clarify the offer / postage.
