!!! READ CAREFULLY !!!

I'm selling my very own CyberstormPPC as "MK3", which I bought myself in the nineties.
Originally the card was a CyberstormPPC with 233MHz. Unfortunately, some years back the PPC started to fail occasionally and I sent it of to a "specialised company" for replacing the PPC together with a big fat warning (prior to shipping on the phone and in writing together with the card) that they deal with an old PCB and have to be extremely careful. If they face problems, they should stop immediately and not "just crank up the temperature" or other silly things. Unfortunately - Murphy would say "of course" - those "specialists" did not listen to me and used far too much heat to replace the PPC. The result was a completely failing PPC instead of a sometimes working one :(

Anyway, a few years later I sent it to a very well known (at least in the German community) guy, who had rich experience in repairing and reviving all sorts of PPC-cards (he successfully revived my AmigaOne XE and one of my other CSPPCs). Unfortunately, he could only tell me that my card's PPC would very likely never again work and any further tampering with it would just risk even more damage to the already very stressed PCB.

So we decided to leave the PPC-part dead in the water and treat the card as MK3. The last thing done was to mod the card to run the 68060 at 66MHz, which it did rock stable since then, including UWSCSI and CybervisionPPC.

  • For this reason, I explicitly sell this card as Cyberstorm MK3 and not PPC.
  • Also only the 68k operation is guaranteed to work until shipment. PPC is not.
  • As the (dead) PPC is still on the card, operator must ensure proper cooling of the PPC! If the PPC would die completely, the card might stop working altogether just like any other PPC card! You have been warned!
  • The fan on the PPC works, but makes noise occasionally and should get replaced by a new one (any 5V fan with 40mm for about 3 Euro should do. Unfortunately, I don't have one spare).
  • Original box is included (matching serial)
  • 128MB RAM included.
  • Nothing else included. No refund. No return.

I'm asking 925 Euro incl. world-wide shipping as insured parcel with tracking ID.
Reasonable/near offers welcome.
Payment accepted via IBAN, Paypal gift or Paypal + 4%.
