Hello all,

I flashed my Cyberstorm MKII 060 with the unofficial Carsten Schlote firmware. Now I would like to reflash the original firmware back. There is a backup tool
in original MkxDiag408 archive that can be found behind this link:

http://eab.abime.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=37220&d=1381742711

I didn't make a backup of my old firmware before flashing, so now I'm asking if someone could be kind enough to send me the original firmware.
The backup tool in that Carsten Shclote archive can be used to save original firmware, if someone can send me a copy of firmware without the Cyberscsi driver
installed I would be very gratefull. Despite the inclusion of backuptool to save the original firmware on disk there's no recovery tool in that archive to flash the original firmware back, but I have a friend who can do it for me. Could somebody be that kind to email me a copy of the original firmware. I have 060 version of the Cyberstorm board, don't know if there is difference between the firmware of an 060 board or 040 board.

Regards,

Niko

Hi, I have a CSMKII 060, have run a backup using 'MK2Backup', file available here... <click>

Hopefully this will do the trick ;)

Yes it is. The latest firmware for it is the file "cyberscsi.device" 8.6 I think.

No it isn't, the above linked files only update the SCSI device, the cards actual firmware is totally different.

Doesn't it overwrite the firmware completely ? I can hardly imagine there are two eproms onboard and/or one gets only partially overwritten with only the scsidriver.

Anyway can I download mine from the card and send it ?
