I hope I don't offend anyone with this comment, but this forum can sometimes be as hard as the stricter of religions. So far the majority of my purchases have ended up in heated debates among members, it cannot be just bad luck.

It looks like @compuhard has saved you from following the correct action.

Be aware that if don't follow the rules of AmiBay you could have restrictions added to your membership.
It was never my intention not to follow the correct action.
I did reach out to both to get it sorted.
I am sorry for all the trouble caused.

Trying not to make this into a general topic discussion 😉

@lokist

The rules are clear for new sellers, when you signed up, you are supposed to read and agree to the rules of this forum. It’s even made clear when you put together a new Sales Thread:

Your membership name
The name “Amibay” this forum.
The date you are putting the sale up on.

This is for those who have less than “10” feedback and/or 50 posts.

As for “Declaring Interest” I even fell foul of declaring without first checking the pictures. As someone who has experience of these things. Then I was too eager. The rule of thumb is look at the sellers ratings. Check the photos if under the 10 and 50 rule. Then usually everything is fine.
Nothing stopping you to declare interest. But as we all know, you have to be quick if it’s something you need to buy. So this gets under looked by many buyers as they expect the seller to have listed correctly.

@edcross

You are just being unlucky. Happens to the best of us 😉👍🏻

Have you read the rules?

@edcross , just coincidental bad-luck, with those threads/sales. It doesn't help when members do not follow the rules.

@edcross is not unlucky. He declared interest to a thread that lacks the proof of ownership.
And if that happened again to him before, this means he never read the rules.
Either we agree or not, we have to learn and follow them.
