Hi all!

I'm looking for exactly what the title says- a Blizzard SCSI DB25 connector mount for the A1200 rear trapdoor. I have the entire connector, but I don't have the metal plate as seen in the photo attached that allows it to be attached to the case of the computer. Currently the DB25 on the ribbon cable is just sticking out of the hole, which is not ideal.

I could create on myself with a bit of work, but I thought I would ask to see if anyone had the part, or the entire cable available for purchase. I would also be interested in a 3D print that would work, if anyone knows of one available. I haven't been able to find one, but perhaps you know of, or are willing to create one? I can't be the only person looking for one of these!

Thanks for any help!

I'm back, and I thought I would share the solution to my conundrum just in case anyone else has a similar issue.

I ended up solving my problem in a semi-novel way. I found an old PC case and removed the motherboard. From there, I was able to trim out one of the DB25 sized connector mounts from the case (a parallel printer port, but a full-size serial would work as well) using aviation tin-snips. With a couple bends, a hole drilled and tapped for the mounting screw, and a pair of connector mounting nuts to attach the connector, I was able to make one. Looks and works almost like it was an original!

This made me think- if you have an old A2000 RF shield laying around, or any light to medium thickness metal with a pre-punched/drilled DB25 hole in it, you could do the same. Easy-peesey.
