DCE scan doubler help and advise

yo,

i have a DCE scan doubler (the crap one with the video port to vga adaptor on the outside of the amiga, rubbish design!)

anyway i want to convert my scandoubler into a fully internal model, so i will need a socket and a vga cable type thing.

the main scandoubler is the same regardless of version you see.

i've attached a picture of the scan doubler i want to make mine into, any ideas or help? oh and here is a picture of the piece of poo i have right now

I've never owned eeither of thse so forgive the silly question about to be posted :whistle:

Piccy two post one - is there any electrical connection between the two connectors?

then yes, there is a circuit board with the 23 pin port and vga port on it, althought it only seems to be doing the job of the 2 wires in the 1st picture
 
I wasn't sure if the 23 pin connector was only their to support the vga connector.

Can you remove the 23 pinner and connect the two wires onto the MB and then mount the vga connector externally?

Or have I completely misunderstood your question :D

i need to take the 2 signals from Alice (via the socket) and a cable from the main board (the one with chips on) out to a vga connector
 
been trying work out the vga connector on my internal one for ages, been meaning to take pics and send them to fol but not got round to it yet
