I don't know for some reason these games get me bored after playing for 20 minutes or so, they don't last long in my PC harddrive, whilst I can play Amiga classics for decades and it's always fun. But that's just ME!

I think most of us feel that way tbh  Even games we spend hours on we rarely ever revisit as much as with the older stuff.

...Hell I even prefer the original Amiga version of colonization to the new one.

There's a new colonization?

Your last paragraph is quite a statement to make, considering the Eye Candy you can have with todays games & high end Graphics PC's. But please understand where I'm coming from here...

Back in the days of Amiga Gaming, however blocky/jaggy it looks by todays standards, anything that could ever be said is just about every game had playability, depending on your own personal bend for what ever genre took your fancy of course. ;)
These days, most games either end up same-old same which more often than not, eminates from boring....

I just don't ever find any Amiga Game I love, boring. It's still very enjoyable, especially some of the Platform type games like Gods & the Alien Breed scrollers. All personal tastes for sure, but just damned good lasting playability. :)

IMO a lot of the old stuff looks just as good, its just a different style. Thats how I see it anyway. Okay its not HD, but there is such a thing as too shiny aswell.
