I have been asked to find a way to use a laptop as a monitor for a Nintendo Wii. My feeling is that this is currently impossible, due to all available methods introducing a delay that would normally make games unplayable, and in the case of the Wii would cause problems with the Wii remote. Also I think the Wii remote may require the use of some kind of sensor bar which I suspect might not be laptop friendly.

I know there are some capture devices are that turn an Amiga RGB output into a vga or DVI signal, but I am not sure if these introduce a delay, and either way, they do not provide a method to get the image to appear in a window of the laptop. So am I right to assume that it is currently impossible to use a laptop as a screen for a Nintendo Wii?
