Depends on the system specs and what you want to achieve.

On less than an 030/50 I would definitely go for the Mas Player Pro as you do not have the CPU required to decode 16 bit to the Defina Lite (which has no onboard DSP).

On an 040/40 or higher I would definitely go for the Delfina Lite as the Mas Player Pro can ONLY decode Mp3s, not music in games, mods etc etc. Plus, with an 040/40 you can player mp3s (just) in decent quality which will sound good through the 16 bits of the Delfina Lite.

Between the 030/50 and 040/40 is a grey area. You can still use the Delfina Lite to play mods etc, you can play mp3s at reduced quality, which kinda'defeats the purpose of having a 16 bit sound card in the first place. But the Mas Player can still only play Mp3s, nothing more.

Did this help? :)

According to the Amiga Hardware Database the Delfina Lite has a DSP: Motorola DSP56002 @ 40 MHz

Really? Well if that is true then the Delfina Lite would be perfect for any Amiga system, as long as price is no object.
