Fitzsteve beat me to it and posted some snaps, but it was a great day out and as promised, here are some of mine... (High res available on request - lowres freely donated to the community).

The beer tent lacked... err beer, but it did have lots of Amigas :)

The nice man from Hyperion with the X1000 (and yes, I would like one please).

Nice pics :D

thanks! Here's part 2...

The Original A1000 showing off (with only minor mods)
DSC_0106-lowres.jpg

Whilst here in the UK we still had ZX80's, 81's, 64's etc

DSC_0108-lowres.jpg

(many of the machines had SD or CF cards acting as pseudo-tapes/disks, this was in a C64 but I spotted Amigas, Dragons and BBCs with similar add-ons)
DSC_0109-lowres.jpg

What's wrong with this picture? Look closely at the keyboard...
DSC_0110-lowres.jpg

...that's right, it's a PC wearing a PET disguise (running an emulator of course!).

The Mansion House

Some very rare Dragon prototypes (the middle one apparently had a chequered history, but was rescued via the other bay)

Dragon Dissected!

The BBC were there too - look out for the VCF on "Click!"
DSC_0116-lowres.jpg

A Spectrum on the Internet?? Oh yes it is...
DSC_0117-lowres.jpg

Now some of the Park - the is one of the amazing decoding machines that "read" punched tape and cracked the key (or at least gave the "top 10" estimates of what the key could be, depending on the thresholds set). Visit Bletchley Park for the whole story...
DSC_0124-lowres.jpg

Disk drives. No, really - these are disk dives. The one in font is a whopping 200MB (most here were 80MB).
DSC_0134-lowres.jpg

An electro-mechanical computer (now known as WITCH). It made fantastic clicks, whirrs and "proper" computer sounds as the banks of relays ticked over and the punched tape reader chunker-chunker-chunkered on... Apparently used to assist in development of Britain's Nuclear Power Stations.

Transistors? Not yet...
DSC_0141-lowres.jpg

We didn't have time to see everything in one day, so the annual pass (cheaper than a day ticket) is highly recommended.

We're looking forward to the next trip!

Some really excellent photos there, you spotted a few things I missed altogether. That online Speccy would have been great to see.
It would have been nice to have been able to have more time to mooch about, but we spent the vast majority of our time in the miggy tent.

Wow, though I hope I don't sound really offensive here but it seems a dissapointingly small crowd for such an event. And that 4000 is one hell of a yellow machine lol.

I wished I could have been there though.

The retro scene is largely internet based, I'm not surprised at the low turnout.

So is "state of the art" the only demo they had a copy of or what?

A great weekend indeed and thanks for posting the pics.

Numbers through the gate were well up on a normal opening day, however it's a shame more retro fans did not attend.
