Pretty cool. Been thinking about getting one of the HxC floppy emulators.

I am more interested in that JVC LCD you are using.

A600 hooked up via Scart to it?

How is the scrolling of games and demos on it?

Ohhhhh how I envy you Euro folks.

And you should ;-) SCART was definately the best way to use the TV as a monitor back in the "old" days (and still do with the right monitor ;-))
next best thing is composite ;-)

Everything is great on this TV, its the best Amiga accessory I ever bought. I've got my A1200T hooked up to it via RTG/VGA 800x600 32bit & Scart for the native screens. Scrolling, etc is all perfect. Even High Res Laced is flicker free through Scart.

The A600 there is just hooked up via composhite as it was only out for setting up the HDD, this (my spare A600) is still waiting for an A608 from Zetr0! I was just setting up the HDD for friend and didn't want to open my A1200, since the A600 was already open I thought I'd give it a try.

Steve.

Here in the US very few TVs will display PAL signals correctly. Thats what makes me so angry. Everyone knows all the good stuff is PAL and our :censored: tvs won't work display it correctly.

Though there are some that do work with 50Hz material. Mostly cheaper, low end sets. I have a 47 inch Vizio HD set and a 26 inch Vizio that both display PAL correctly via composite and svideo. But no RGB, just standard 31KHz VGA.

I just wish we had 15KHz RGB inputs.

Yes we are very lucky to have scart connection here, is it worth having a UK set shipped over? These old non HD TV's are pretty cheap now.

Oh by the way I updated my last post with some links...

insofar as most LCDTV's go -

those that run on a power-pack are infact 12v 3amp units, these plug-packs can be found in the US (remember that the US uses a 110v circuit for appliances) for under 20 bucks I am sure -

@thgill

If ever I find a cheap euro-LCD TV i will ship it you =) - you'l have to find the plug-pack though ... sure I can help =D

Thats right its non hd but it also has a pc vga input however its very fussy on the vertical sync so rtg is the only way to use the vga. It supports up to 1360x768 but with the p96 driver best I can do is 800x600

The native displays via scart are all flicker free even laced modes but there is flicker via composite in laced modes.
