Does it exist, Jae to ide44?

I have no problem finding jae to ide40, there's plenty of them on ebay, but not ide44. Want to connect a jae slim dvd to my a1200. I know I can buy a jae to ide40, then an ide40 to ide44, but it will be to much adapters. My cf-reader is ide44.

I'm pretty certain one of my slimline drives has a JAE to 44pin adapter board on the back, so they exist for sure. Good luck with your search!
