I have spotted a DRACO CASABLANCA system on fleabay. It is an AmigaOS compatible machine using modded kickstarts. I will not post a link, but it is BIN or MKOF, but be warned, I've seen BPPC and CSPPCs sell for less.

One? There is two units for sale at this very moment!

Wow.
I'd never even heard of those before.

Interesting!!!!

(p.s. You'd think I'd go crazy and almost order it and ask lots of questions, and then buy something else altogether at the last minute, but I think I'll just admire this from a far. :-) )

beware, as those system are ONLY amigaOS compatible machines with heavy patching. There is no chipset in them, so anything that uses it will not run

I've got one of the original Classic Casablancas that I used for video editing until a few years ago. Very expensive in its day especially when you purchased the extra video effects software, fonts and harddrives :(

I think that you have to found a properly gfx card also, as there is no any chipset there.

So what can you actually run on them these days and use them for?

Am I right in thinking they have either a 68040 or 68060 CPU? What are the other specs? Ram, OS, drives etc.

Draco have a modified set of cards to run with, the most known is the Draco Motion (a modified Vlab Motion).
