As with most of my precious stuff, i know i'll regret this, but can't justify keeping it any longer.. This is the well-known full-tower Draco Amiga clone, with an 060@50 Mhz, 48MB RAM, 4MB Chip (Altais RTG), WB 3.1, 2x SCSI hard drives as follows:
1. IBM DDRS-39130 (9.1 GB)
2. IBM DORS-32160 (2.1 GB)
Also carries a Yamaha 4416 SCSI CD Recorder, an additional ROM adapter which i never used but purchased "just in case", and of course literature and software. There's Workbench 3.1 on floppy (install disk) and an accompanying CD for the installation, which takes care of the rest of the setup too. As i was told aeons ago from its previous owner, the CD was given in a generic form from MacroSystem that way...
Nevertheless, there's also floppies for Movieshop, VDPaint, Digital Image, and the rest of the installation comes from the CD.
The system is fully functional, and the only drawback is on the aesthetics side. Slightly yellowed plastics on the tower. There's a crack on the top left corner of the tower, some paint-chipping on the rear top corners of the case cover, and a couple of small bumps on the top, hardly viewable. Also, the front flip-cover for the drives does not snap that well on the tower front, but can stay in place. Could easily be fixed, but i'm leaving things as i got them. Two light marks at the bottom side of the keyboard, and a missing tab from the flip-cover. It will all be pictured. Alas, that's the result from shipping the whole lot in a plain carton altogether, and sent here from Germany...
The set will be packed in 3 boxes, as a means of safety and economy in shipping. Plan is:
a. Main unit.
b. Plastic support stand for the tower base, front flip-cover, and keyboard.
c. Literature and software, plus the ROM adapter.
Although i know that members have requested a Draco in the Wanted area, i'd like to give priority to local members, preffering to sell in a means of pickup or short drive delivery. I would have no problem selling abroad, but in such a case, i'd prefer within the E.U.
Shipping to the States for example, requires plenty of paperwork, insurance would be also high, and shipping a hell.
The whole whatchamacallit comes to roughly 25-26 kgr without boxes and stuffing material etc.
Most couriers would require approximately around 500 Euros for this sort of shipment to the US. (pgovotsos, i had you in mind initially)
Of course, there's no problem if you have a means of arranging something of your own as a pickup method. But i take no responsibillity in the safety of items in such case.
Keep in mind that this set will cost in the 200+ Euros shipping range for most of Europe!
Anyway, picture time:
I'm asking for 1400 Euros shipping to EU included (was 2500 Euros plus shipping) unless there's a buyer from Greece of course.. IBAN is the prefered method in this case, or IBAN plus PayPal gift solely for the shipping amount if shipped abroad. If it's a local deal, cash on pickup would do. Before you rush into price comments (which is forbidden in these premises anyway), may i just mention i purchased this giant at nearly twice what i'm asking altogether.
I even purchased an @dial (jog wheel) that was described as a Draco wheel, looked like a Draco wheel, same brand too, only to find out that it was for PCs... (JL Cooper MS2) Nevertheless, it's not in the package now, it would be pointless.
All literature is in German, and so is the keyboard layout. I would insert the rest of the photos in the initial post, but for some reason the system is acting funny. So, please, hold your horses before expressing interest, read the description well, and do me a favor to decide after seeing the rest of the pictures. Will update shortly.
Thanks for looking!
