Latest Prototype system

This is a standard Dragon 32 which has been upgraded to 64K of RAM and modified to behave as a Dragon64 except for 48K Basic.
Can use OS9 etc.
It can be switched to a 64K TRS 80 Colour Computer 2 with full Software compatibility....

Left to do is Automatic Keyboard remapping when COCO mode is selected... circuit being built :)

Shown here running with Prototype RGB Colour Board - Best image yet on Dragon or COCO..

Want to know more?, drop us a PM

UPDATE --- I built a little rewire dongle to place between the keyboard and motherboard just for test purposes and can confirm that the COCOSDC works perfectly with this beast in COCO mode...time to build the auto switching electronic version now :)

Very nice, far better than having two bulky machines! Not to mention the Dragon keyboard is far better than the Tandy.

Dragon 32/64 - TRS 80 Colour Computer Hybrid - Update

The Prototype is now complete and working as planned :)

You can see the Keyboard Remapper prototype board fitted to the Testbed Dragon and it's associated wiring.

Fully tested in Dragon Mode and COCO mode including Joystick operation...

If you have a Dual programmed CoCoSDC cartridge then the hybrid supports both SDC modes with 100% compatibility.

Parts on Order, If you are interested in this upgrade, or makeover lol, then please get in touch smile emoticon

Thanks for all your support and words of encouragement.
