Hi,

How's about modulation and what effects are supported? How does it handle attack and decay etc. As I heard on the samples you made on YouTube for exemple on Descent 1 song 1 there's no hall effect applied or maybe the record is not too good.

Hi diskers,

thanks for your feedback !

First of all, reverb (8 different types), chorus (8 different types) and modulation are all supported.

Reverb types :

  • Room1
  • Room2
  • Room3
  • Hall1
  • Hall2
  • Plate
  • Delay
  • Pan delay

Chorus :

  • Chorus1
  • Chorus2
  • Chorus3
  • Chorus4
  • Feedback
  • Flanger
  • Short delay
  • FB delay

And also

  • Modulation
  • Pitch bend
  • Filter cutoff frequency
  • Filter resonance
  • ...
all the usual stuff
it is all supported.

I agree the demo's sound very dry, compared to other daughterboards.
I personally like a more dry sound, but I agree it would be a good idea to make it more 'conform' the usual midi modules.
I will revise my effects configuration and default settings and compare them to a typical yamaha daughterboard (which sounds very wet)
to make sure they respond in a similar way, and also have more 'wet' default settings.
This will be the 'wet' firmware.
Then I will upload a new demo for your review.
I will try to get this done by next weekend

Kind regards
Serge
