I bought a Dual CF adapter and have been told you can't just plug in 2 CF's since that won't work (master/slave problem). My first one is just a 4Gb sandisk ultra II.

Does anyone have any info on this, or experience?
What should i buy as a 2nd CF, if it has to be something specific?

Hi JiggyMF,
I've used a few dual CF-IDE adaptors with various retro-systems and a variety of CF cards...
I hope you'll be glad to hear that in general I've had no problems. :)

I have to say 'in general' as occasionally it doesn't seem to work - no pattern beyond it's always the same computer(s) that won't play ball with dual-adaptors not the adaptors or CF cards themselves.

Hope that helps.

I posted about my dual cf adapter previously and it is working great! The only problem I had is that I have to manually mount the second cf card when I boot. I can probably create an automount entry, but it works fine in my A4000D on the built-in IDE port.
