Hello,
I'm trying to help an older neighbor. Does anyone know details on relays? The DS2E-N-DC12-C shown in the pic has some amps and volts listed. I cannot find this exact relay but I can find a DS2E-N-DC12.
OLD DS2E-N-DC12-C
0.3A 125VAC
0.3A 110DC
1A 30DC
NEW DS2E-N-DC12
0.6A 125VAC
0.6A 110DC
2A 30DC
So my question is do the ratings matter? Are they the trigger amps or are they the max amps the relay supports?
But I don't know.

- I kinda think they are max amps, with the 12V rating being the trigger, so it would be safe to use them.
- I also kinda think the 3 ratings are the same, it just depends on the power applied (125VAC vs 110DC vs 30DC, but all equal about 30W of power ). Meaning the actual hardware is rated (i.e. 'thick enough') for roughly 30W
But I don't know.
