these past days I've been looking through elbox page, and I'm surprised to see how much activity there is late on the drivers page for the meditator.

The multimedia CD seems to be pretty close for a release.
though they postpone daily the release due to new driver updates, I think they are worth waiting for.

I'm positively surprised to see how many drivers has been updated...

take a look for yourself : http://elbox.com/downloads_mediator.html

Well I might think that they've bugfixed some drivers, added support for more bios versions for i.e. the Radeon 92xx series card, and probably the TV cards too.

and better support for AOS 4.0

these are my thoughts.. and have absolutely no reference if its true or not.

They've added support for the Radeon 9000 card (RV250 chipset).
The medconfig has more options in regards to the exact mediator and configuration you have.

It`s out!!!

I got update via email yesterday and installed it straight away.

First impressions are that there is a general speedup ;)

My VoodooMem config changed from 31 to 15 but, I seeem to have more graphics memory than I did before the update. I heard they were trying to use the Voodoo memory and that`s what seems to have happend ;D

Not even been 12 hours yet but I`m impressed!

I don`t know but it`s worth a try. If not, you can always buy just the CD - it`s worth it to get the latest updates ;)

I just bought a 2nd Mediator, LT4, used, to go into another Tower I`m building. I have the original MMCD for that, so it would be interesting to know for myself as well :shhh:

The release notes for the voodoo driver are also interesting:

4.30 (03 sep 2010) - Support for Mediator 4000 MK-II added

So it looks like they are going to release a new Mediator 4000.
