Hi all So who else is currently playing Elite Dangerous?

I got gamma access a week ago and other than having to run it on my lounge system (launcher does not run on my main system icard). It's been great fun so far

My start status was Pirate giving me an upgraded Cobra MK3 and a wanted value of 7.5k (all clean now). The ship flight dynamics are awesome (strafe rules) take off and landing, general travel and dogfights all blend very well

I am looking forward to playing it a bit more later

I bought into the beta a few months ago, after waiting for the oculus rift to arrive. The game itself is fantastic but I've not been able to put much time into it due to work etc. I'm really looking forwards to giving it some time over the holiday period!


kudos to David Braben for another game that actually feels like it's been designed, instead of the regular recycled junk being released these days. I remember waiting 9 or so years for frontier elite II, and it was just so brilliant, even with its rushed release and bugs! This feels the same again...well worth the wait, it's stunning.
