Howdy,
Have a bit of an odd one for sale: an Epson PX8 "Geneva" laptop. CP/M based notebook which uses ROM ICs and micro cassettes for storage/software.
Donated by my old man, i've never gotten around to try it, until yesterday. Sadly, the beast does not seem to work. The original battery has been opened up (the plastic sleeve), all i can guess is that my old man tried to replace or repair it at some point. He had the same lack of repairing skill that i have
I've tried using the power supply with it: no luck. Tried it with a generic PSU of similar specs, still no luck. Not too familiar with the inner workings of the old beast, it has a gazillion dip switches under the hood too.

As i really don't have the time for all that, i'm letting this one go, hope someone can get her back to life.
From what i read, it originally came with four or five roms. Two of them are fitted in the machine, haven't been able to find any roms other than the two installed.
It comes with:
- some books/manuals
- the original power supply
- the original, but tortured, battery plus the connecting cable
Cosmetically, the unit looks allright, but has some scratches/marks one could expect from a machine this old. All the port covers etc are still present.
