I hope I did not post it somewhere else, since I am typing it once more, if so I hope admins delete previous posting

Last user I wanted to help declared it s**t, well it does not look good, it's no power no light, it is a broken, and getting it retrobright will mean some work, since it has some rust, a good paint job would be a better idea.

Since the last user is me... You probably misunderstood mate.
You said in your first sentence:
"What about the units that have df0/df1 switch are they incompatible?"
and then you posted the drive pics when I already have responded :)

So the I dunno Jack Schitt meant: "I don't know if they are incompatible"

Just to clarify since I don't want to sound the bad guy to people they offer their help.

For your drive I only said... I wish it worked... Not that I don't like it's appearance when it was given freely.

Guys, dont worry about it

I know you both very well indeed, and you are BOTH good helpful guys and of REAL community spirit OK.

Trust me when I say this is just a little language barrier issue...

Now Best Wishes to you both & shake hands

TC :p

BTW: that switch on the back is not to select DF0/DF1, it is to turn the unit on/off.

I already had a nice PM from Salaxy, (not answered) and declared nice and properly it was for free in the first post to the user I wanted to help :

What about the units that have df0/df1 switch are they incompatible?

---------- Post added at 20:23 ---------- Previous post was at 20:07 ----------

I have a broken unit, free for the shipping if this helps

RKAUER is probably right, but don't care about this unit at all, so it is to the admins to decide.. My impression is that the first user did not like this piece of old broken hardware, I offered it to the bin..

Please apply the rules and let me know..

The rules are simple: first person who shows interest in this thread have the prevalence.

I know what Mario (Marios? Marius?) did: he apologize in an emotional way and just let people know he was not rude in refusing the offer. Language barrier, just that.

You guys both are valuable people here, so just chill down and be friends, as we all need to be in a small environment like Amiga/retro-computing community, right?:grouphug:

I am not mad at Mario at all, I just wanted to help him out, now letting the item go to the first user, that expressed interest, that is not Mario I think, but galaxi..

I' did not know about f***k expression indeed, it's a pitty we had this mis-understanding.

I'll have a good day to work today, so I'll wait the decision. I believe rkauer advice: first user that declares interest..
