Taken Faulty Atari 1040STE

I have for up for grabs a faulty Atari 1040STE. The fault is that when turning on you just get a white screen, it goes no further. Might be an easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing. It comes with a Kettle lead and STM 1 Mouse.

please note that the floppy drive works but has no fascia.

It has TOS 2.06 and 4mb Ram fitted.

As you can see from the images, the case is very yellowed as is the mouse. However the keyboard has no yellowing.

Postage will be about £7 or £8 I will give an exact quote on request.

Well after re-seating the two PLCC chips on the board I got it to boot with issues.

The disk drive isn't working and sometimes its crashing but at least its doing something

Re the disk drive it might be just the ribbon cable the wrong way round. Try that first. Can't help with the crashing I'm afraid but good luck.
