Isn't it hilarious ? Saw one yesterday from Poland .... 40MB SCSI hard drive for £<Snip> :-)

So whats really going on with this ? I refuse to believe anyone is actually paying anywhere near that.
OK - working drives of that age are probably not so common - but .... COME ON !! They're not friggin Chinese Ming vases or Van Gogh paintings !!

They're a mass-produced thing which when fitted are not even visible - unless I suppose you are custom-building transparent cases :-)

I suspect its just a bunch of chancer kiddies trying to exploit the feebay listing fee structure.
Think I might see if I can wind one or two up with enquiries .... the Polish £<Snip> lot say they're offering a 3-year warranty .... should be some scope for baiting there.

Anyone here actually paid (or know of someone paying) £<Snip> or more for a 25-year-old hard drive ?

I've totally destroyed the point of your post with the reason being that price comments are now not allowed on AmiBay.

Thanks to the members who pointed out my typing error :D

Ah - errr ...well OK - but I wasn't commenting on any prices on Amibay .... never mind - remove the post if you feel the need.

But if someone happened to be selling one or was about to list one then that's where the price comparison can start a row.

OK :-) well can't see it this case, but OK I guess rules is rules .... like I say - remove the thread if you think its against the spirit.
