*NOTE* These are also listed on Lemon64.com

*** NO Cartridges Left ***

Hey everyone!

I've completely assembled the remaining 20 PCBs from the Final Cartridge III+ project. All of these have the PCB fixes installed and the units are ready to go**. Cases are not included. These are the last units that I will be offering for this project.

** You will need to program the EEPROM.

The price is $35 each. PayPal Personal Payment or Gift Payment Only for these units. Shipping for a single unit to most countries is $8.88. Canada is $6.91. USA is $5.25. I'll have to get a shipping quote for orders with multiple units.

When buying a unit, please tell me which label you would like for each one. If not specified, I'll send the red label with white lettering.

What is the large fix for? I know about the small one, cutting a track and rewiring it, but here several components have been added. Is there a link that explains these fixes in case it makes sense for me to patch my device?

Penfold42 on Lemon64 found the two issues. The first is a floating gate input fix.

www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54291

The second is a kill fix because the cartridge may not become completely transparent when used with a cartridge expander.

http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54789

The kill fix can be done with through hole components but I chose to go with SMD to make things nicer. A BOM for the SMD parts is in one of my posts in the thread. I'm going to update the assembly directions both here and on Lemon64 to include all the optional fixes.

Hi Jameson,

It's basically The Final Cartridge III with a 2MB ROM. I can't link directly to the development thread but you should search Lemon64.com for FCIII+ Development to see some of the additions by SAM55 and EDK.

Hi Jameson,

Yes, it definitely supports the 1351. You can also use it with the 1350, joystick, or the function keys to move the cursor.
