Hello from Central Virginia, US. I've been a vintage computer enthusiast for many year and built a small collection of mostly 8-bits and Unix workstations, but I finally picked up an A3000 desktop over the weekend. Haven't had time to fire it up yet, but it's clear I have a lot to learn about the Amiga universe. I got a ton of manuals, along w/ the original box. It's also got a Hydra ethernet and some secondary sound card installed. I'll have to identify it later.

Very nice! More photos please.

Welcome to Amibay. For many people the best Amiga ever made.

Thanks! I'll post more shots once I get it up and running. Turns out the included mouse is a DB9 serial, not an Amiga mouse. Oops. I'll have to track down an adapter or mouse or something.

The battery has been replaced/relocated by the previous owner; it's now on wires and attached to the frame with zip ties :)

(I'm already on the war-path about batteries destroying logic boards, as my primary interest system is the Tandy 100, all of which have now-leaking memory backup batts)
