I'd sort of like to get my A2000 & A4000 up and running, but I'm still a few parts short. I would sort of like to get a Guru ROM set for my A2091 in my A2000 & I need an AGA capable FlickerFixer/ScanDoubler for my A4000. I had planned to use a Picasso IV in my A4000 but the one I had was faulty, it worked fine if I set it to Zorro II mode and/or limited it to 2 MB RAM, but otherwise it would fail to produce a display once past the early boot stage. I'd sort of still like a Picasso IV, or a Cybervision 64/3D, or some other combined RTG & FF/SD setup. But failing that, a good FF/SD that I can feed to a separate RTG card (for auto switching,) would work. The original AGA MK2 by Individual Computers would be fine, but the only one currently available is the DVI model. Going from the AGA to DVI to VGA to Pass-Through Cable to RTG seems a little much. Just going directly from my A2630 through a cable to my Picasso II (A2000,) results in signal loss that is noticeable, but tolerable. Add in extra adapters & cables and I can't see how it would do anything except get worse.
Also, in emulation at least (now confirmed problem exists in HW as well,) ROM 7 on the A2091 has a problem with CD change detection. With the right CDFS I can tell it to poll like many trackdisk systems, and that fixes the problem. But the only CDFS I can get to work with WB 1.3 (BabelCDFS,) doesn't have that option. Updating to the Guru ROM fixes that problem, but I cannot seem to find the adapter needed to use it.
Please let me know if you have anything along with price requirements.
Thank You.
Got a FF, was a little pricier than I had hoped, but I'm now only lookinf for the Guru Adapter for my A2091. I do have a ROM v7 on the way (here now,) so I can use it with OS 2.x (what I plan to use an accelerator on,) but would much rather have the omniscsi.device from the Guru ROM set.
