Sold FM Towns II UX20 with extras

I'm offering a rarely seen FM Towns II UX20 for sale with a few extras:

- Both disk drives with new belts, both working.
- Formatted disks (3 or so) included to save games.
- Original Keyboard.
- Adapted MSX Mouse.
- One controller (one to choose from the two models in the picture).
- Homemade cable that allows to connect ANY RGB console to the monitor as an external source. Take into account that this is a high quality 9" Sony RGB display, so the image quality is really outstanding. As an example, with a PC Engine (using r0jaws RGB cable ).

Asking price for the full set for Amibay users is 700 euro (plus shipping, if required) via paypal gift (or +4%). I'd prefer local pickup in Madrid, Spain, but I'm always willing to ship. In this case it might be expensive and it will take a while to make sure it is safely shipped (it weights a ton), but nothing is impossible.

The item is up for sale outside Amibay (but not in the other bay) at a higher price - in case you stumble over the same item.

Hi sir_beaker, long time no see

It comes fitted with the regular 2MB, it has an expansion slot but I went almost bankrupt trying to find an extra 4MB/8MB to work. I have 6 different DIMMs that I can also add if I'm able to find them; maybe there is some jumper or system config that I wasn't correctly setting... but I failed miserably, as said.

Regarding shipping cost, I'm open to any possibilities if you know a good one. I'm not sure about the exact weight after packing but will be around 20kg; using the postal service in Spain that would cost from 75 to 100 euro. I will check with courier services in case it is cheaper. My suggestion would be, but always with your approval, to ask 100€ for shipping and I'll show you the invoice. In case it is more, I cover it. If it's less, I return the difference.

This will make a nice companion to your Marty II

Probably GLS would be a good bet as they charge by the size of the parcel (instead of weight) and this seems to be a small system so..

Thanks for the reply. I've got the same problem trying to find RAM for my Towns II 2F and am holding out for a fully upgraded version so I am going to have to withdraw interest, sorry but it looks like you have someone else interested

I love that model though, it would be perfect for my x68000 as well as it has the RGB in and multisync Sony monitor built in so I could ditch the XPC-4

They are brilliant machines with some great ports on it.
