for sale I have a internal Amiga 500 Floppy Disk Drive from Chinon "FB-354".



This Drive is testet and run very fine. The Read/Write Head is cleaned.

Price: 20 Euro + shipping!

did you clean the heads if so what did you use and how did you go about this got a few iffy drives not reading well see?

Not sure about head cleaning, but there's 2 other things might need attention.

1) There's about 3-4 (I think) small electrolytic caps that might well need changing. Easy job, as they're through-hole mounted.
2) There's a plastic "skewer£ type thing that drives the head block in/out - its meant to have grease on it .... often the grease dries out and needs removing with alcohol etc and replacing.
