I purchased an old A2000 decades ago and was disappointed by its performance (relative to the A4000 with Cyberstorm 040 card that was my primary system and placed it into storage. I found it yesterday and noticed its got the following cards in the system...

A2065
A2091
A2058
A2088 (or was it A2286?)
A2620
SuperGen 2000S
Resolver board

The system have the 8370 Fat Lady chip.

My goal is to update it to PiStorm. Is there a problem with the 8370 chip and does my boards becomes useless with the PiStorm? I also have an A4000 (obviosly) that have the Video Toaster 4000 and the EMPLANT Mac Emulation Board.

Since the A4000 can not be upgraded with the PiStorm and even if I spend a bundle to get the fastest possible accelerator board, the PiStorm will always out runt the A4000, I am thinking of moving the Toaster and the EMPLANT to the A2000. Is the AGA on the Amiga of any benefit at all when compared to the PiStorm equipped system? Will there be any problems with my plan to downgrade the A4000 and use the A2000 as the main system to run commercial wares? I see the workbench rom is 2.0.4. Shouldn't the 8370 be upgraded? What is the best I can go to? Thanks.

Is it just me, or are both of these lovely as they are? Pure Commodore A2000. 040 AGA + Video Toaster 4000, which has more features in a 4000 than 2000, and a Mac as a bonus. Where is the sign-up sheet for these?

...and...PiStorm? More like ImPstor! :-)
