DOH.

You know those times where you're doing something, and someone calls you and after a few minutes you've totally forgotten everything you've been doing the last few hours? Yeah... that's it.

Now... that was not nice of me, but I'll make this posting legitimate by stating:

I've replied to da9000 PM and accepted one of his two offers. Now I'm just waiting for his acepptance of my acceptance, and I'll PayPal him hundreds and hundreds of american dollars. $64,000 in fact, which technically is thousands and thousands...

Money is sent to da9000. I'm waiting for a 40mhz rated fpu capable of running at 50mhz.

@arnljot: FYI, all 68882 are capable of running at 50MHz. The very same as the PGA 68030.

Off Topic: Also the 12mhz, 16mhz and 20mhz PLCC ones? They are abundant on eBay and I was considering getting two of them too. I need those to run at 25mhz at least.

Just to let seller and mods know:

This arrived in good shape a few days ago, but with all my cards away at service - I have no means to test it. But it looks A-OK.

Nope, PLCC units are capable to cope only 25MHz. That's the maximum clock they was made.

Nope too! I have a 33Mhz PLCC FPU in my 4000D Cr Board & have seen Pictures of 40Mhz.

The PGA style were seen in various speed packages & were released to deal with Heat Issues.
I recall my A2630 having both PGA Package CPU & FPU fitted, but they were only speed Marked @ 25Mhz.

Re: WTB 68882 PGA 50mhz

I've bought two PLCC fpus now from the other bay. One 33mhz, and one 40mhz. I'll put them in my A3630(3400) cpu cards.

PZ.

I've bought the PGA fpu from da9000. Waiting to get it tested. This thread is for a PGA fpu, incidentally I've also bought two PLCC ones of the other bay, but that is off topic :)
