As per the title, I have two C64 long boards 'for sale'. Both are PAL 250407 / 251137s - one rev B, one rev C. They were both bought a while ago for spares. Both are broken. When I first picked them up a few months back one of the boards (the rev C I think) was booting up but showing a RAM error (out of memory) but the other board was not booting. Having just tested them again neither powers up at all, even with a known working VIC II chip - no video signal, no white line on either board. I don't solder and frankly I need the space so they're available for the bargain price of free - just pay postage. One of the boards has a SID and VIC II chip present but when last tested in a good board the SID had taken a vow of silence (no output at all) and the VIC II was 'working' but showing corrupt graphics (vertical stripes). A quick check with my multimeter shows the 7805 and 7812 on both boards are working - 4.99V, 11.89, 5.1V and 12.4V respectively (your mileage may vary). The CPUs, PLAs, ROMs, RAM and CIAs are all soldered and hence untested, possibly working, possibly not. Both boards have some old flux residue / possible signs of rework on the back. The rev B has crinkled solder mask which I believe is normal for older boards (?) whereas the rev C board has flat solder mask. No sign of leaking caps on either.
