Hi all

Im posting this up now while i remember to do it. I have a boxed 1040 sitting around and I'm trying to clear space. It does work but the floppy drive is temperamental if i remember rightly. It also has a crack in the case but no bits missing. It happened when i had it apart cleaning it and someone trod on me case.

I know there's probably not many around Coventry but I'm just too busy and tired lately to post it so please don't ask because it just makes me feel bad saying no, sorry.

Ill get some pics up Friday as i have to dig it out of storage and i won't have time tomorrow. Hopefully i can pass it onto someone.

Ahh. I've just found it out and its a 520 ste im afraid. Bit of a let down. Seems to work fine as i thought it would but i don't have any disks to try the drive. Heres some pics.

so, collected the atari today - was a top day for a road trip. thanks a lot for the unit - its in much better condition than the pics make it look!

nice to put a face to an avatar! - cheers for the tea! rob.
