Hi all

I never got this to recognise any games when I plugged GB games into it. My Snes has bricked itself so I can't remember if this does actually boot into the Gameboy Player screen or if it just doesn't work at all. I think it does boot but doesnt recognise games. Sorry I cant be more specific.

Any, I think postage might be £1.24 first class but it might be £3.80 because it's quite fat.

Heading for the bin if no-ones interested,

Cheers all.

Well, I picked one up at the car boot recently which wouldn't play the larger extended carts (those with the extra connectors at the sides), like Doom. So I swapped the innards with my snes (mines crap condition) and put my mobo in that so I can trade it. But after the swap my actual machine won't turn on :) so I bricked :)

Sold to Taj, Will post it now mate.

You've probably blown the fuse. Snes are notorious for blowing fuses. When you remove the power cable you must then switch the power switch back on and you will see the led flash. Then its ok to work on the machine. Its an easy repair though if you're any good with a soldering iron and you can get 2 replacement fuse for £1.99 as i've just bought some for my own console. To test this theory you can open the snes and hold a small piece wire across the fuse contacts and see if the console powers on, if it does then you know that's what needs replacing. If you're not comfortable replacing the fuse i can do it for you as long as you cover postage

Ah thanks scrappy, I appreciate the tip. I'll give it a try sometime. I don't honestly use it much other than to test games occasionally.
