I am sure you guys know that there is Freebasic(which is free but it is bit advance) and also thinbasic(not my cup of tea thought but some of you might like it!) and I am sure there are some free programming language out there that you know

I would too recommend Scratch (already in the list)

It's for kids, a very easy and visually tool to learn programming basics

I have try stencyl and it was really interesting one.....so easy to used

This one isn't about programming or designing Graphics....it about Designing the Game and it also had so much Graphics resource meaning You don't have worry about making Graphics on whatever you want

There is even tile map editor which you could design own Turrican Game

There is Crash Course for you to get Starter from Platform game to space invader game and onward
