I'm playing "Scarface" on the original Xbox and I have to say it's really good... OK it's not GTA Vice City or San Andreas but it's a great game and worth a play. There were some good and bad GTA imitations... I really enjoyed The Godfather, again on the Xbox although Mafia was awful as was Total Overdose... any one played any good GTA imitations?

Re Scarface... I just met a character at the start of a mission - little fat guy in a baseball hat who I had to beat up - his voice is Ricky Gervais - I checked the credits - it's him!

I enjoyed both mafia games and the godfather 1 but didn't like scarface too much

Sleeping dogs is very, very good. Like it better than gta 4, but that probably has more to do with subject matter than gameplay.

Obvious one would be Saints Row and Crackdown wasnt bad either if you like the mindless blowing stuff up sandbox theme, it did have a basic story but wasnt as in depth as GTA's.

Just Cause 1 and 2 are alot if fun. There's a hell of alot of GTA clones and almost all are good in their own way.

The Warriors is another great oldie...

Of course LA Noire was excellent - in my opinion.
Sleeping Dogs does look good - will have to get that - need to investigate Godfather II and Mafia II - I just could not get on with the first Mafia but on the PS2 it did look terrible - think it was more appreciated on the PC.

LA Noire was very good, had nice time with it, but no option to turn that radio off?

Remember playing and finishing The Gateway on my PS2 back then. It was a really nice game around London district; really enjoyable. :)

No one mentioned Saints Row yet. Very Arcade like in the driving & shooting but the Story is pretty decent and lots of depth with the side missions, which are worth doing for the upgrades :coffee:

I've finished Saints Row II on the PS3 and when we got the 360 I started SR I. My Missus has finished I, II & III about three times each :o @100% :o:o

She loved watching me play GTA but couldn't get on with the controls/difficulty level, the more Arcade style with Saints Row means she can pick up and play it, even to completion! :ninja: (Takes a long time to die on SR )

Loved LA Noire and have bought the extra mission packs, have completed the game but not played the new investigations yet.
