Hi!

For sale I have my GBS8200 CGA/EGA/RGB to VGA GAME upscaler/video converter board I bought on eBay from a Hong Kong supplier.
I designed & built a crystal case for it. It is not perfect (the buttons could be more accessible) but I'm rather happy of the final look.

The original hardware came without a Amiga Video Connector, I added it as well.
There is no PSU (5V), you have to find one (that's quite easy).

I'm asking 30 euros for it, excluding shipping cost.
PM me or post here for the shipping cost.

GBS8200 CGA/EGA/RGB to VGA GAME video converter board

What are the drawbacks with this Hardware?

How is the Screen Quality for example?
( ghosting, wobbling on Screen)

I can't see a Scart Connector. Do you maybe mean
the Amiga Video Connector?

How high is shipping to Germany?

Hi!

U're perfectly right. It's an Amiga Video Connector and not a SCART.
Fixed in the description above ^^

Main drawbacks :
- the converter only works @ 60Hz, meaning that you are unlikely to play Shadow of the Beast at a perfect stable rate of 50 frames per second.
However, I made a series of tests on several games and found it rather clean for a 20 euros upscaler. It's almost constantly smooth, but indeed you can spot a couple of frame drops quite frequently, that's right.
- the output produces some strange vertical stripes, that are not really annoying but will remain noticeable. The INDIVISION board I have produces the same kind of issue.
- As far as I know, there's no wobling or ghosting.

Shipping :
the shipping with tracking to Germany is 15 euros max. If it turns out to be less expensive (I can only tell when I physically ship the parcel), I will refund the difference by paypal.

hi
i see you were using an external DC 5V/2A DC adapter to power the board
it's common to see this converter powered via the amiga video port, which is not a suitable option according to me..

possibly interested, next in line
