Hi everyone!
I'm a vintage computing enthusiast down under, but grew up in Singapore (lah). Just turned 31, so grew up with multimedia CD-ROMs and dialup modems.
Our overheated housing market means I'm moving into ever smaller apartments, so I have to consolidate as much retro nostalgia into as few pieces of hardware as I can. I'd love to fix/upgrade what I already have, and find good homes for duplicates.
My current nostalgia gear:
· Commodore Plus/4 (most beautiful hardware Commodore ever released IMHO)
· Toshiba Libretto 70CT, Windows NT 3.51
· DIY Pentium MMX 200MHz tower, booting MS-DOS 6.20/WFW 3.11, Windows 95, BeOS
· PowerMac G3 B&W, 300MHz
· iMac DV, blueberry, 450MHz (non functional, trying to fix)
Aspirational:
· PAL Commodore 128
· PDP-12, or at least having space one day for one!
Referred here from the VOGONS Marvin forums.
Cheers,
Ruben
