Hi all,

Just got hold of a bundle of computer gear, and have a few (ok, 20 ) of these Genius Soundmaker 5.1 PCI soundcards available! They would be perfect for a retro build.

According to the Box the CD contains driver for the following:
- Windows XP, ME, 2000, NT, 98, 95
- MS-DOS
- Linux

After visiting the Genius website, drivers are available for Windows 7, with Beta drivers available for Windows 8.

And the following software:

Audio Rack Application
XG Software wavetable and MIDI program

System requirements:
Pentium II - 266 or above
40MB Hard disk space
16MB RAM (minimum)
PCI slot (obviously )
Correct OS
CD-ROM drive, with audio cable
Speakers if you want sound ;)

The cards are supplied in their retail packaging and are still sealed. Some of the covers are torn and boxes a little squashed, so best ones will be sent first.

Basic cost of the cards is £6 + your choice of postage. International postage available, so please ask for a price!

If someone wants to take the lot, then I'll let them go for £50 posted (UK Mainland only). Ideal for a computer shop perhaps?

Also listed for sale elsewhere!

Sales terms:

1) Following a declaration of interest, initial contact (a PM) is due within 24 hours. If no contact is made, I reserve the right to move on to the next in line.

2) Once all questions have been answered and my payment details have been provided, payment is due within 24 hours. If no payment is received (without further contact) I reserve the right to move on to the next in line.

3) Where free postage is offered via a standard service, payment is to be made via gift. All payments where no shipping insurance is opted for must be made via PayPal as a gift. If selecting shipping insurance then the buyer has the option of paying the fees. In the event that non-insured shipping is selected and the buyer pays the fees, the payment will be refunded and the sale declared void.

4) Once an item has been sent (usually next working day after payment received), the buyer will be PM'd tracking information where this is available, otherwise a PM to notify of posting will be sent. The thread will be updated.

5) Shipping costs are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Please be aware, I'm not a trader, just play with computers and tech as a hobby and clear out bits as well as whole laptops and other kit from time to time, these laptops are sold as seen, with no warranty either expressed or implied, as with classified ads. Unlike classified ads, I'll help out where I can and may even have some spare parts to assist with a repair/fix if needed. Just so you know

Surely someone wants a brand new and sealed card, even as a spare?! ;)

I'll let someone take the lot for £50 delivered. This would be less than £2.50 per card!
