George returns to the Gates of Bill on another Professor Ali Java influenced excursion involving the AAA board. This final leg of his journey takes George on a wild ride meeting various personalities post Escom era at such locations as Tulip, Hyperion, Tao, Great Valley. Interacting with the likes of Timmy D, Bill Morphdog Buck, Boss Cow Waitt and Captian Collas just to name a few. This crazy adventure loosely follows the Amiga following Escom's demise through the Gateway era and beyond. The adventure also pays tribute to music and movies of the era to "Back to the Future" and "The Fly" and bands such as YES.
Hazy Dave returns in a special appearance, and the Terry's Chocolate Ball loving warrior of the freepairs Doc Edwards returns to help George in his quest.
The game is filled with over 100 rooms and closeups to explore, dozens of puzzles to solve, games within the game, dozens of Mods, Samples and Animations to keep you entertained. And of course it continues in the absurd humor evident in the previous episodes.
My last effort to this series will be to revamp all three games to run on 1mb Amigas. It will require reducing some of the game play somewhat, such as animations, but the main play will continue. I am also enhancing GQ2 "In Search for Queen Lorriane" with all new graphics to match those of GQ3 & GQ4. That will be released as GQ2e by the end of the year. After, that's all she wrote for Geo's Quest. I have taken GRAC2 as far as it can go and some. Time to move on to other development systems like AmiBlitz and Scorpion.
I have the GQ4 Manual and new box sleeve and CD label at the printers as I write this. Anyone who has purchased the box set will receive the new sleeve, GQ4 manual and CD for a small $5.00 fee. that won't even cover shipping, let alone any of the printing costs, but it will help.I have only sold about 25 of the 100 box sets so its been a huge loss already. As I said before this was a passion project for our little community not a revenue generator.
