Good Paint Program for PC?

At the moment, I used Gimp 2.0 for doing Tranasprites(dunno if spell it right) like deleting background.......

For example...........you have blue background with white clouds and so I delete blue background meaning you should only seen White Clouds itself.

Grimp 2.0 isnt great for what I am doing.

Another paint program I used are Pro Motions.

Are there any good paint program that easily do Tranasprites?

Krita is also a really good option. Open source and free, and features several options to create sprites with transparent backgrounds or remove the background from images.

And a nice AI based subject selection plugin (also free) makes short work of selecting objects and cutting those out of a background.

Youtube has countless Krita tutorials covering the removal of backgrounds.
