Greetings All,

Thanks for accepting me into this community. I've been working on computers for many years, and recently I caught the retro computing bug. As a teen I had a C64 but had not used one in many years. A few months ago I came across the C64 mini and had to purchase it. After a few hours of mucking around with it I realized I missed the C64 so I went on ebay and bought one (only to discover it doesnt work so I'm in the process of restoring it). While searching for info related to restoring the C64 I came across several other retro computers. This got me thinking about how much fun it would be to re-live some of my fondest days of computers. Next I purchased an Amiga 1000 (I always wanted one but never did own one but did use a friends) it needs work and that's what lead me here. I also have since purchased an Apple II GS (I've used a IIc but always wanted to try the gs) It will be my third restoration project. In searching the net for retro computer info I found several home brew computer build kits which also I have started collecting. This new found hobby of mine keeps me busy and is quite relaxing at the end of my day.

-Rob
