Hi all,
after lurking around these boards for many years, I wanted to kick some action into my AmiBay account so here's my introduction...
I'm located in Belgium, I'm currently 33 years old (married, no kids) and have been playing video games since I was 4 or 5 years old. I started out with the Atari 2600 and stayed in the console scene until now. The only sidestep I made was when buying my first A500 when I was 16 years old. It all started when a friend of mine introduced me to his magical A600 and I was blown away by it
In the years that followed, I bought an A500+ to keep the A500 some company, a CD32 and two years ago I finally added an A1200. Recently I replaced the HD with a CF adaptor and now I'm on the hunt for some memory upgrade (but not to pricey, as I only plan to play games on it).
Next to that, I managed to gather a rather nice collection of game consoles and games (+3000 games and counting...)
Some of my other plans for the near future are:
1. Installing my new game room, as the construction of my house is reaching the final straight
2. Buying a pinball machine
3. Buying a few consoles and computers I really want to own to fill some blanks in my current collection (3DO, Speccie, Nec PC-FX and a Sharp X68000 and a Virtual Boy).
Anyway, that's about it for now I guess
