Hi there.

I recently acquired a few Amiga items: An A4000 in decent shape, an A4000 in some kind of aftermarket tower case with Toaster Flyer, an A3000 in very good shape, an A2000 in terrible shape, a nice working A1000, and some keyboards, mice, and other misc items.

All I really care about is the A3000 -- I really want to get that beauty working! That's what I had 30ish years ago and the nostalgia flows heavy with that thing. I still have a big box of 3.5" disks with my custom labels and I can't wait to try it all out. :)

The A3000 has some very minor battery damage but I have it booting to a blank white screen at least. Resurrecting and restoring it is going to be super fun!

Neither of the A4000s boot past the gray screen. One had some unfortunate damage beyond battery leakage (two of the resistors near one of the ports are burned up). The other A4000 looks great, very very little battery leakage -- still no boot up though. Oh well. I'm not in love with those anyway.

I plan to sell it all off piecemeal and use whatever I get to help get the A3000 working properly. I stumbled upon this forum yesterday and I'm very impressed with what I see here!

Thanks!

Welcome to :check:AmiBay!

It seems you've got some serious Amiga gear! Restoration projects can be frustrating but at the same time a fun adventure. And when you'll finally manage to resurrect the Amiga the feeling is pure joy!

Hope you'll get that 3000 working soon and cherish it for years to come!
