Hi all - I'm new to this forum, but not to the Amiga.
I bought my first one in 1985 - the a1000 cost me €2750 then - but I loved it and thought it was worth every cent. Since then I have owned every Amiga model in production except the a3000D/T. I currently use four amigas; an a600, a4000D and T and the SAM440ep. I'm a great fan of Phase5 (using a Cyberstorm PPC with cybervision PPC) and individual computers.
I have been active on ebay for some years as d230944.
Anyway - Amibay seems to me a perfect match of two of my favourite passtimes and I'm really looking forward to participating further.

ps.:can't wait to see the X1000 in action.

Two thousand seven hundred and fifty euros for a 1000? I think that might be a record!

Welcome aboard :D

@d230944: You used Euro as curency in Denmark in 1985?
This must have ruined the 80'es and 90'es for you! :)

We love to joke here!
Welcome dear sir!

It's easy to forget how much this stuff cost when new!
Welcome to Amibay by the way. :)

Thanks for the kind welcome - I wish it was a joke.
We didn't use Euro Denmark then and still don't. I honestly paid 21.000,- danish kroner for the beast - 1 euro = 7,5 kroner - took me a while to recover
