Hello everyone!

My Amiga journey began in late 80s as a teenager when I got a A500 as a christmas present (after selling my C64). Later on I bought a monitor (1084S, if I recall correctly) and external disk drive. Boy, was I in 7th heaven back then. Unfortunately I got rid of all the Amiga stuff to buy a PC in mid 90s.

Now I’m making a comeback into old Commodore systems after 3 decades of neglect. First I sourced a C64C and later continued by purchasing Amiga 500 and 1084P monitor.

I’m here to learn more what has happened during these 30 years when I’ve been away. Seems like it’s a thriving community.

Welcome to Amibay! A lot has happened. Plenty of new stuff to be had for both Commodore systems. I have a Commodore 128D. All I have done with that is add a Tape Cart setup to use a SD card to play games on it so far. For the Amiga side, like you got rid of my original Amiga gear. CDTV, 500 and 1200. Luckily I came back into it in 2006 with a Amiga Technologies A1200. Since then it’s been a learning curve and 3 x A4000’s

What kind of Tape Cart setup you have in C128D? I'm pondering on what kind of SD setup should I get for C64. There are so many options, it seems. Like SD2IEC, Pi1541, 1541 Ultimate II+, etc.

I just use something called a TapeCart…
