Hi there folks,
my name is Fabian from Lower-Saxony (Niedersachsen) in Germany. I'm living in a really small town near Hannover (you know? CeBit?) with my wife, two boys (7 months and 4 years) and our cat. Well, I'm still 34...
The Amiga was not my first computer (this was an Amstrad CPC6128), but the one I immediately fell in love with. I bought an A500 - when I was 13 - and extended it after a year or so with a 80 MB hard drive. This was really great. I did some modmusic for a demo group and had lots of fun with GFA-Basic (which I really bought in a local computer store).
When the PC came up me and my dad decided to go mainstream and so I sold my beloved machine.
Since a year or so I have been really looking for an Amiga 1200 and finally I bought a used one in a package with two A500. At the moment I'm pimping it a bit. And hopefully it will be in full working order in the next weeks.
In my "real" life I'm a lawyer working in the ministry of the inner here in Lower Saxony. I'm specialized in ICT-law (information communication technology) and had a small law firm before I started a new career in the ministry (for the kids you know, just working from 9 till 5).
So...that's it for the first.
So long,
Fabian
