I got Nvidia GTX560Ti card and trying to use HDMI output without luck . Do I need a new main board that supports HDMI or there is something I am missing?

Would be nice to free VGA input on my TV for Amiga ...

:help:

No you dont need any special motherboard. installed the newest drivers? Using a dvi dongle?

you should only need to change in software mate try setting to multiple output

what make part number also should be mini hdmi with adapter

Do not need a dongle, it has got mini HDMI output. Tried everything in Windows (Windows 7) and nothing. Maybe this Chinese cable is not good ... Newest drivers installed.

have you tried on 2 monitors on differnt outputs together

Hi Buddy
I've used the HDMI before on Different cards and all I had to do was go into the Nvidia control panel and set the output ran great after that. Try the monitor selection part.

Are you using Windoz or Linux

My ATI 5770 all I needed to do is plug in the HDMI and select the Input on my TV and away she goes.

I would try a standard Monitor with an DVI to HDMI adapter its easier to setup.

yes they will mate but no audio is passed through

That is ok, have separate amplifier.

I have connected second monitor and HDMI monitor is not even visible in settings, like it is not connected ...

Will try this adapter and see.

Just checked and my DVI is DVI-I not DVI-D so I guess it will not work ...

Go Tesco's for a hdmi lead. £1.50 and they are good quality :)

Should just be plug and play tbh, at least it is on all of my pc's.

Does your monitor auto sense and auto switch the input or is it manually set?

I've had issues with the very latest Geforce 296.10 driver. (I have the GTX560 Ti as well). Watching TV on a TV PCI card or playing Crysis the display will scramble after about 10 minutes and I had to power cycle the PC. The previous drivers are now installed, 285.62.

When you plug in the HDMI cable into the 560 and the other side of the cable into the TV and turn it on you should see an new monitor/TV in the Nvidia control panel.

If you dont i would first of all try a different cable and if that dosent work a different version of the drivers ( latest aint always the best)

Can you try the HDMI port on another TV or monitor to verify that its working?
If you dont have any other TV or monitor with a HDMI input you can always buy and DVI to HDMI converter and put the converter on the TV/Monitor side just to test the HDMI output of the 560.

If the HDMI output is dead you can always use the converter in the other DVI output instead and get dual screen that way :)
