Helping an interstate friend collecting some gear he bought...and storing it till he collects it. Of course, curiosity gets the better of me, so I have to check it all out.

So here, as we all love, is some pleasure and pain...

Fear not, they both work! Obviously the clock on the damaged board is non functioning....yet!

Needless to say it was and still is DEAD. I had a spare Rev 5 A500 motherboard to replace it.

WOW! That is nasty! I've seen corrosion on the trapdoor pins before, but not the edge connector!

Another A500 C= A501...earlier revision, but nowhere near as bad damage....
