Hardware sprites in asm

Hi,

Playing around with sprites and have a question about horizontal position. I am unable to position them one pixel apart horizontally but vertically works? Always moves two pixels? Using a lowres 320x256 PAL playfield 16bit (fmode = 0). Part of Sprite Data Structure below and with the HSTART below I can see two pixels of sprite 2. What do I do wrong? :)

sprite1: dc.w $2c40,$3c00

sprite2: dc.w $2c41,$3c00
 
Thats the part I was missing! Many thanks @nicode. Downloaded two sprite examples for ocs and aga and only the aga version was using the extra bits. Don't trust example code 100% :)
